Montreal

Well... while I'm still in Montreal on vacation with my family, I figured I'd to this on the hotel's computer. Montreal has been... a nice experiance. My mom's job brought her up here, and while she didn't go with my dad and I to see anything, she still kinda (sorta not really) enjoyed herself. But... I don't think there's any way to describe this week other than interesting. There's been everything, from bitchy Chinese caters to crazy drivers, huge malls to jingly belts. There's been the port which is a nice view and calming, Notre Dame cathedral which is intimidating to a methodist, lots of statues of Jesus and other French people. I think the only french I learned was 'numoto... going up' from the elevator. The hotel was ok... amazingly good hottub, sauna, and food, but crappy housekeeping and funky smelling halls. And most of the people that my mom works with are amazingly nice. Some of them have heard of me since I've helped out in the office, and the one Japanese man was so polite... but that's something completly different. But it feels like it's time to leave, and I couldn't be happier. When I get back, I can quit wearing the god-forsaken shoes (aka crocs) because I can find better shoes (blisters are incarnations of the devil), and I get to babysit and work at my Villages Day Camp. (while fixing my home computer x_x) Then... uhoh... back to school. But... yay Montreal!
